2010 Kitchener-Waterloo Field Hockey Recreational Programs

Our Kitchener-Waterloo Field Hockey Recreational Programs will have opportunities for your child to play the International game of Field Hockey.

All of our teams are Co-ed and all of our games are played 7-a-side except where noted.  Each team is mixed evenly with boys and girls.  No problems have been experienced in 20+ years of this format. There is a one hour practice are on Wednesday nights, and games are played on Saturday mornings between 8:30am and 11:30am.

The season runs from the last Wednesday in April (April 28th 2010) until June 19th 2010. Games and practices are at either Alumni Field at Wilfrid Laurier University (King St and University Ave in Waterloo) or St. David's High School (Weber St. and Columbia Ave in Waterloo).

• In addition to the prices mentioned above, a $30 fee for Field Hockey Ontario is charged. The fee for younger Grasshoppers (born in 2002 or later) is $20.
• The Grasshoppers play 4 a side instead of 7 a side.
• Mouth guards and shin pads are mandatory.
• Practices and games are on rain or shine and are only suspended or cancelled in the event of thunderstorms.
